Ross Anderson is a chartered accountant with over 25 years’ experience. He is a fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and is a chartered tax adviser. He is a registered company auditor and is the principal of the licensed securities dealer, Anderson Investment Services. Previously the president of the MF Global Client Support Group in Australia, he has wide and varied commercial experience in dealing with agribusiness and capital markets.
Mathew Ryan has been instrumental in the growth of Murray Cod Australia. With over 21 years’ experience in the aquaculture and agriculture industries, he was previously managing director of Bidgee Fresh and Riverina Aquaculture. Mathew holds a Bachelor of Rural Science degree and through a previous managing director role at Agrow Agronomy and Research, provided agronomic support services to agriculture clients and conducted significant research programs.
Martin Priestley has extensive capital markets experience. He began his career with NatWest Bank in the UK, specialising in mining and project finance with responsibility for assets in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. In 2001, Mr Priestley was appointed CEO and managing director of Ashe Morgan Winthrop, an independent corporate advisory and capital raising firm. He went on to run Bamford Partners, which merged with Moss Capital in 2012, before joining CBRE as a senior director in 2014. He currently sits on several boards.
George ‘Roger’ Commins has 40 years’ experience in the agricultural industry, including establishing and operating a diverse portfolio of enterprises. He is a director of Commins Enterprises, a company widely recognised as a regional innovator. Mr Commins is a founding member and current director of Southern Cotton – a cotton gin based in southern NSW.
